Dr. Rajab Khadrah, a local gastroenterology physician in Clermont, Florida and South Lake Hospital are developing a new 14,000 SF medical office building and a Florida licensed ambulatory surgery center near the hospital’s property. The project consists of a single story building, with three tenant suites. The 8,670 SF ambulatory surgery center shall provide the hospital the ability for outpatient Endoscopy surgical services, as well as a new motility suite of approximately 1,800 SF. Dr. Khadrah, a surgeon who will be performing surgery at the center, will also have a 3,600 SF medical offi ce for his growing practice as well. The project is completely new construction and upon completion will be a fully licensed and accredited by Medicare and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). The primary design objective is to develop an efficient environment for the surgeons and staff, while also creating an environment sensitive to patient needs. Completed in July 2010.
